Almost all of our couples come to us claiming that they’re not photogenic and never look good in pictures. They’re worried that they’ll feel awkward in front of the camera or won’t know what to do with their hands.

This is why we don’t just take pictures. We curate an authentic elopement experience that makes you feel comfortable and confident to express yourself exactly the way you are. And THAT is hot AF!

We can take care of your vendor needs whether it be videography, officiants, hair and makeup, and so much more so you don’t have to worry about coordinating and finding the right people. We got you!

GUIDANCE ON MARRIAGE LICENSE

The absolute last thing you want to be thinking about on your wedding day is paperwork, so it’s a good thing that you won’t have to! We’ll guide you on how to secure permits for any spots that require them and as well the logistics of getting a marriage license.

Here’s how long everything takes. You can choose to incorporate whichever aspects you want for your day! We’ll help plan your day in a way that makes the most sense, with the most ease, so you can have your dream experience:


1. Getting ready: 2-3 hours
2. Ceremony: 30 minutes
3. Family and friends photos: 30 – 60 minutes depending on guest size
4. Portraits: 1 – 2 hours
5. Adventure (hiking, snowmobiling, skiing etc…): 2 – 6 hours
6. Reception: 1 – 3 hours

Once you’re ready to move forward (FYI, we’re ECSTATIC!), you’ll need to sign a contract and pay a $250 non-refundable retainer to book your date. Let’s get this party started!

AKA: Worldwide adventurer, unapologetic cheeseball, shameless romantic

Not to sound cliché, but there’s nothing I love more than love. And I do what I do because it’s truly the best job in the world—getting to capture your excitement and emotion on camera (while having an incredible experience!) is a feeling that can’t be replaced.

My latest adventure? Creating inclusive wedding packages that allow you to choose what you want and leave the rest while knowing that your celebration will be everything you’ve ever dreamed of—and more.

Can be found: Backpacking around the world, bungee jumping, watching rom-coms, adding to my tattoo collection, finding the best bagels and pizza everywhere I go.

Hey I’m Marcela and I believe your love story deserves to be captured in a way that feels real and true to you. I fell in love with photographing elopements because there is something so special about couples creating a day that reflects their connection in the most personal and meaningful way.

I live for the messy laughs, the happy tears, and the quiet moments that make your day yours. I am a big believer in finding joy in the little things, laughing until it hurts, and living a life full of connection and adventure.

Can be found: outside exploring a new trail, deep in a puzzle I swore I would not start at midnight, or hunting down the best cheese board in town.

I’m a filmmaker and storyteller who believes in capturing love stories with authenticity and care. For me, filmmaking is more than just recording moments—it’s about preserving the emotions, unspoken connections, and in-between glances that make your story unique.

I’m deeply committed to inclusivity and ensuring that every couple sees themselves reflected in their film exactly as they are. My goal is to create a film that allows you to fully relive the laughter, tears, and energy of your day for years to come.

Frequently asked questions

Once you sign the contract and pay the non-refundable $250 retainer to reserve your date, you’ll get access to your client portal and we’ll get started planning the Colorado outdoor wedding or elopement of your dreams! The first step will be filling out a questionnaire to share your ideas and vision for your special day. We’ll then help you refine them and get started on scouting locations, crafting the timeline, connecting with vendors, etc!

You’ll get previews within 1 week, and your full gallery within 6 weeks!

Yep! You technically don’t need an officiant or witnesses for your elopement in Colorado, but we’re 100% GAME to be your officiants. We may or may not shed a few tears while at it ?

Absolutely! After your $250 payment, we split the rest of your payments evenly across all the remaining months leading up to your wedding day.

Yes, yes, and yes! Our goal is to make your elopement a smooth and stress-free experience. Once we make it official, you’ll be invited to a private client portal where you’ll find extensive resources and checklists to keep the entire process organized. We’ll help with finding epic locations, crafting a realistic timeline, connecting with the-best-in-the-biz vendors, navigating legal requirements & permits, getting your marriage license, and more! 

Absolutely not! Most of our locations do not need any hiking at all, and are within 5 minutes of parking. We make it as easy and beautiful as possible :).

Absolutely! Take your loved ones with you – the Colorado Outdoor Weddings team will keep them happy and entertained. We work with weddings and elopements up to 50 total guests including you two.

Smart question! Certain packages come with weather insurance, which means that you’ll be able to to switch your date to the day before or day after. We also create extensive backup plans so you always know what we can do in case of an emergency, such as a unicorn outbreak shutting down a trail! ?

We don’t set a specific number of photos and it also depends on how much photo coverage your package includes. After years of testing, telling your best story typically results in 40 photos per daylight hour.

WE LOVE DOGS! If you want your fur-baby present, we’ll find a location where all of you can have a blast. Some locations have special rules about animals, so we’ll make sure that there are no surprises!  PS: Did you know that in Colorado, your dog can legally witness your license?!

If we could give more stars, we would because Adam is off the charts. After speaking to other photographers and just not getting “the feels” we were blessed to find Adam. The care, organization and guidance he offers before the day are second to none. We simply wouldn’t have had the day we had without him. He gifted us with the most beautiful experience. And then we got the photos. We’ve cried, laughed, awww’d, hugged, kissed, and lost our breath more than once. Clicking through the photos we were snapped back into that day.
